WHAT ARE THE

SERVICES LIKE?

Our Sunday services are at 10:15 am and 6:00 pm in the Worship Center. We want you to feel comfortable as you worship God with other believers. Our music is a blend of the latest contemporary praise songs as well as hymns of the faith. Sermons are a relevant message that will help you grow in your relationship with Christ.

WHERE DO MY

CHILDREN GO?

We want church to be a place where your entire family is encouraged to draw closer to Christ—your kids included! That's why, during our Sunday morning worship services, we offer fun and engaging environments where children can learn and grow in faith as well. All our kids' programs are designed to be safe places where children in our church can learn new and exciting things about God while being led and cared for by adult volunteers from our congregation. It's our hope to encourage children to not only discover new things about God, but also begin to understand how those things matter in their own lives.

WHAT DO I WEAR?

We want you to dress comfortably. Some people may wear suits or dresses, while others may have on jeans and tennis shoes. Our services are always casual. We don’t want you to worry about what you wear, just that you come ready for a great experience.

IT'S ALL ABOUT HIM....

Jesus is central to everything we do at Spring Creek.  We sing, pray, and preach in His powerful Name. Our past, present, and future is centered on Jesus Christ. Our purpose on this earth is to make much of Jesus Christ. If you're new to Spring Creek, we would love to get to know you better. LOVE GOD, LOVE PEOPLE, TELL HIS STORY

THE MINISTRY AND SPIRITUAL GIFTS

We believe that God is sovereign in the bestowing of spiritual gifts.  It is, however, the believer's responsibility to develop their sovereign given spiritual gift(s).  The indwelling of the Holy Spirit occurs at conversion and is the placing of the believer into the Body of Christ.  We, also, believe that particular spiritual gift(s) are not essential to salvation, nor do they prove the presence of the Holy Spirit, nor are an indication of deep spiritual experience.  (I Corinthians 12:7, 11, 13; Ephesians 4:7-8)  We believe that it is the privilege and responsibility of every believer to minister according to the gift(s) and grace of God that is given to him.  (Romans 12:1-8; I Corinthians 13:1, I Peter 4:10-11)

THE CHURCH

We believe that the local church, which is the body and the espoused bride of Christ, is solely made up of born-again believers.  (I Corinthians 12:12-14; II Corinthians 11:2; Ephesians 1:22-23)  We believe that the establishment and continuance of local churches is clearly taught and defined in the New Testament.  (Acts 14:27; I Timothy 3:1-13; Titus 1:5-11)

STATEMENT OF FAITH

Spring Creek is a community focused church, welcoming all regardless of background.

You can find an overview of our positions and beliefs below.

THE HOLY SCRIPTURES

We believe the Old and New Testament Scriptures are the inspired Word of God.  The Scriptures are inerrant, infallible and God-breathed and are, therefore, the final authority for faith and life.  The sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments are the complete and divine revelation of God to Man.  (II Timothy 3:16-17; II Peter 1:20-21)

SALVATION

We believe that salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, who shed His blood on Calvary for the forgiveness of our sins.  (John 1:12; Ephesians 1:7; I Peter 1:18-19; I John 1:9)

THE GODHEAD

We believe in one triune God, eternally existing in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – each co-eternal, co-identical in nature, co-equal in power and glory, and having the same attributes and perfection.  (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; John 14:10, 26; II Corinthians 13:14)

THE PERSON AND WORK OF CHRIST

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became man, without ceasing to be God, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful men.  (Isaiah 7:14; Luke 1:35; John 1:1-2; II Corinthians 5:19-21; Galatians 4:4-5; Philippians 2:5-8)  We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ accomplished our redemption through His death on the cross as a representative, vicarious, substitutionary sacrifice, and that our justification is made sure by His literal, physical resurrection from the dead.  (Acts 2:18-36; Romans 3:24-25; Ephesians 1:7; I Peter 2:24)  We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ ascended to Heaven and is now exalted at the right hand of God where, as our High Priest, He fulfills the ministry of Representative, Intercessor, and Advocate.

(Acts 1:9-10; Romans 8:34; Hebrews 9:24; I John 2:1-2)

THE PERSON AND WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

(Acts 2:18-36; Romans 3:24-25; Ephesians 1:7; I Peter 2:24)
